Hi, we are the Mishima Family fundraising for our son, Ryo.

Ryo Takeshi Mishima was born unexpectedly at 8:56 PM on June 2nd, 2024. Due to ongoing pregnancy complications, he arrived at just 23 1/2 weeks, weighing 740 grams (1 lb 10 oz), a micro preemie 17 weeks early.

Ryo embodies the essence of a survivor, holding significance as it is also the year of the dragon. Takeshi, on the other hand, epitomizes a fierce, strong, and healthy warrior.

Ryo is a true fighter but the journey ahead is challenging. Our little warrior is currently in the NICU at CPMC Sutter Health, where he is receiving critical care around the clock. As parents, our hearts ache seeing him fight for his life every moment.

We deeply appreciate all the support, prayers, love, and messages.
