Hello everyone! My best friend Ray Krantz has been putting up a tough fight in his battle against cancer for the past 6 years. I am heartbroken to say that on February 3, 2025, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, friends, and family alike.

First and foremost, Ray loved his family and put them above everything else. He loved his wife Rachel and his twin boys, Avery and Roman, more than anything in the world, and I could never imagine what those poor kids have to go through at such a young age.

Ray was most notably known as a fantastic chef. From artisan pizzas and breads to some of the most beautiful dishes you’d ever see. He definitely left much to be missed because anybody who’s ever had Ray’s food would tell you that it’s the absolute best food around. To put it simply, Ray was just a really good guy. He always lit up the room with his jokes, always had a smile on his face, and was always ready to take care of his family and his friends.

My ask is that if you can, please help his family navigate through this unfortunate time to help alleviate bills and expenses and to just get them back on track after having spent so much time taking care of Ray during his battle. There will never be another Chef Ray. There will always be an emptiness in our minds, but our hearts will always be full knowing we had the pleasure of having Ray in our lives, and the memories made will stick with us forever. Thank you.
