We’re the baristas of Oviedo, working at one of the busiest unionized Starbucks in the district, and this December we’re going on strike. Starbucks has long attempted to stall fair negotiations of the union contracts we’re owed, the benefits we’ve demanded, and the pay we can no longer wait for. From their history of targeted union busting to the dead silence at the negotiating table, this holiday we’re taking our hands off the espresso machines and onto the picket lines. It’s time to win for ALL baristas.
