To our cherished Sedona community, friends, customers, and loyal family of Sedona Water Works-

My name is Jordana, and apart from being both a longtime customer and close friend of Rachel, David and the team. I’ve also worked along side them for some time at the water store. I come on here to not only represent myself but also to speak and post on behalf of those that care and want to help in any way. This container was requested by so many in the community there for it was heard and created.

As you may or may not know, recently an unexpected and deeply unsettling shift occurred at their beloved water store which has resulted in them parting ways with their partner and displacing their employees. While details can’t be shared right now due to legalities, what I can say is what happened was sudden, unjust and not their choice. In results of what happened not only affected them, but has also rippled through our community in a big way.

It is clear that this right here is the moment to stand together for what is right and just.

The Power of the People!

Anyone who knows Rachel and David knows their true devotion, integrity, and the unwavering love they poured into creating a space that was far more than just a water store. It was a safe place of connection, support, and community. Their amazing team Adam, Alex and Jayden also played a huge part in contributing the love into that space.

They were all so passionate about educating people on hydration. Rachel & David were also an integral part and pioneers in bringing the people together during tough times in the world a few years back through music and dance by co-creating a music festival we all know as Vortifest. They brought in so many local vendors, goods, art into the store and supported others in a way that was so beautiful. It was a true oasis in the desert.

For the past seven years, they have shown up for us all with kindness and dedication so now is our opportunity to show up for them and their team to reciprocate the love they have given us for so long! So Let’s let our voices be heard and our Love be felt!!

This GoFundMe is simply a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and a way to help them rebuild what was created and rise stronger than ever. Something to help ignite that fire of creativity for whatever they decide to do next! They were genuinely our water guardians for so long and showed their unconditional love through their hospitality that I trust and can only imagine with their gifts and their big hearts, that something truly spectacular is on the horizon... and I know I’m not the only one that’s here for it!

Every contribution, big or small, is a powerful reminder that they all are supported, seen, and deeply valued. So let’s rally as the strong community that we are to help our dear friends!
