Stand With Our Father Facing Deportation

My heart is heavy as I write this.

My father is truly everything to us — a devoted dad, loving grandfather, supportive husband, and a rock for our entire family. He has spent over 25 years building a life in the United States, chasing the American dream with one goal in mind: to give his children and grandchildren a brighter, safer future.

When my husband passed away, my father stepped up in ways I can never repay. He became my son’s best friend, mentor, and the father figure he needed most. His love is unwavering, his presence is steady, and he gives of himself endlessly — without ever asking for anything in return.

Now, we are facing the unimaginable.

Despite living here peacefully for decades and contributing to his community, my father is now facing deportation to a country he hasn’t called home in over 25 years. Years ago, he was wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit — a case that was never about justice, but about finding a reason to deport him. Even after it became clear he was not at fault, the system continued to hold it against him.

Under the current administration, this old case has resurfaced, and now the life he’s built — the only life he’s known for most of his adult years — is under threat.
