We are a group of parents raising funds to support the teachers and staff of our daycare facility who are currently living with fear and uncertainty due to aggressive ICE activity in our Minnesota community.

Many are afraid to travel to work, shop for groceries, or leave their homes at all. Others are facing the real risk of unjust detention or separation from their families. These are early childhood caregivers who show up for our children with love and commitment—and many of them are parents themselves. Help us care for them as they have cared for our children.

There is no intermediary organization. Funds are distributed directly, thoughtfully, and responsibly to the teachers and staff we are in direct contact with that need help right now.

Many friends and family members have asked how they can help. This is a tangible way to stand with the caregivers who play such a vital role in our children’s lives and are now navigating unimaginable fear and uncertainty.

Your contribution provides immediate relief—and sends a powerful message: they are seen, valued, and not alone. Funds are collected by parent organizers and distributed directly as mutual aid to teachers and staff for essential needs. Donations are not tax-deductible.

OS (Beneficiary) and Anonymous (Organizer) are parents of a child enrolled at the daycare. Funds raised will be deposited into the beneficiary’s account (OS) and used solely to support daycare teachers and staff. This includes reimbursing parents for approved purchases—such as groceries, personal care items, and essential supplies—provided directly to staff; paying third-party providers on behalf of staff when needed (including landlords for rental assistance, transportation services, legal support, and mental health services); and providing direct financial support or appreciation initiatives to staff, such as meals, wellness support, or small stipends intended to help meet immediate needs. Funds are administered in coordination with a parent organizing group, with a detailed ledger maintained to track all reimbursements, direct payments, and distributions. No funds will be used for personal or administrative expenses.
