On Thursday, July 17, 2025, my good friend and lifelong neighbor Maureen lost her mom, June. June and her family have lived across the street from us for 30+ years. Maureen is like a sister to me and is the kind of person who gives 110% to everyone she knows. For the past 3 years or so, June has required 24-hour care. Maureen has luckily worked for a company that has allowed her to rely on the Family Medical Leave Act to take time to care for her mom. As helpful as that has been, it unfortunately has caused one heck of a dilemma financially.

In an effort to help Maureen lay her mother to rest, financially recover, and keep her family home, I am asking for your help. Any amount is helpful and is a huge relief for the best person I know.
