Stand with Matthew to fight for Hadleigh’s health and safety

UPDATE:
We would like to share an update regarding Hadleigh’s custody case.
Court went very well for us. Very well! We are not comfortable sharing specifics, but we are comfortable sharing that Hadleigh’s mother did not do well while testifying. The judge set another court date for May 22nd and that is when he will give his ruling.
We have asked for Matthew to be the residential parent and to adjust visitation where Hadleigh’s mom will no longer have her 50/50. The reason for limiting visitation is so that Hadleigh receives proper medical care as well as proper care day to day.
Even though things went well for us, it is in the hands of the judge to decide if the trial will affect his decision.
We were able to pay the attorney, however, the majority of the money came from a place that it has to be paid back by December 1st. Matthew is working his tail off to make extra money to help pay this back.

A dear friend and family member of ours is in need of not only prayer, but a miracle to save this little girl's life. I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Donny and Jesse Wilson in an effort to raise enough funds by April 18th to continue on in their custody battle for sweet Hadleigh. We appreciate your prayers and any donation you can provide. All proceeds will go directly to Donny and Jesse Wilson. Below is a message from Jesse on the details of their journey.
“Donny and I have been helping Matthew (Donny’s son) fight for his daughter Hadleigh. It has been a hard journey that started when Hadleigh was 8 weeks old and her mom took off with her. It took the Sheriff’s department 2 months to find her and another 2 months for the court to force visitation. Hadleigh was 6 months old when visitations started. Hadleigh is now 16 months old. She has a kidney abnormality that has already required surgery, eye issues, and also has developmental and speech delays. Her mother does not give her the daily kidney medication which could lead to sepsis, she does not have her wear her glasses which has already led to her starting to develop a lazy eye, and Hadleigh spends 24/7 in a small apartment where 3 people vape so she has chronic ear and respiratory issues. Praise be to God things have started falling into place though. A local pediatrician is documenting all health concerns, Infant and Toddler Services qualified her for therapies, and DCF is involved. She also has a Nephrologist, ENT, and Ophthalmologist. Not only this, at our last court date the judge had finally begun to open his eyes and suggested if we bring proper documentation to the trial on April 18th, he will list Matthew as the residential parent.
Then we received a gut-punching email.
This fight has already cost an extreme amount of money and there is nothing more than a temporary order in place allowing Matthew to see Hadleigh. Our attorney emailed us asking for another $7,500 to proceed to trial. We thought the last set of money we came up with was going to carry us to trial, we didn’t realize this big of a blow would come last minute. I am asking for prayer and a miracle to be able to continue fighting for the stability and care that Hadleigh needs and deserves.”
