Stand with Maria and Liam: A Call for Compassion

Good Day Everyone,

We are here, humbly asking for your help in the troubling times. This is Maria and her son Liam. As some may know, Liam has struggles for years with his mental health and aggressive episodes and Maria has struggled in finding suitable help for his mental health needs for just as long. This past week, it all came to a breaking point. During one of Liam’s aggressive episodes, he obtained a small injury under his left eye. Although it seemed insignificant, CPS and the Police both deemed it to be abuse and Maria was arrested for alleged Child Abuse. Those that know Maria, know that she would never do anything to intentionally hurt her son, much less abuse him as she is well aware that Liam isn’t in full control when he has these aggressive outbursts, and only wants to help her son calm down and deescalate the situation.

Because of this arrest, it led to Maria incurring a $3000 bill for the bail amount to a Bail Bonds office.

We are asking for support, not just for the bill, but for Maria to move past this and continue to advocate for her son and get help for his mental health.
