Stand with Marah Sukkar: Aid for Gaza Family

My name is Carlee Edwards, I am from Rochester, New York. I am assisting Marah Sukkar with her campaign. She is collecting funds to survive with her family during the ongoing genocide. Marah has lost everything including her home and two brothers, she now lives in a tent with her husband and their children along with her brother’s orphaned children. Hello everyone, my name is Marah Sukar, a resident of northern Gaza. I'm 20 years old and have two children. Due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 10, 2023, my husband, Mohammed, and I lost a lot.

{I lost my home, which we spent our lives building , and I lost two of my brothers who were martyred in a treacherous Israeli bombing in defense of the homeland . Because of this, I became alone and without support}

Since the beginning of the war, which continues to this day, we have been suffering the most horrific forms of suffering: displacement, homelessness, hunger, and humiliation. I am now confined to this tent after having unfortunately lost everything. ⛺️ We have now reached the point where we can no longer afford the cost of living, especially with the rising cost of living due to the closure of crossings and the scarcity of goods.

We are suffering from hardships and disasters unimaginable to the human mind. Killing, destruction, and displacement. What's worse is the exorbitant rise in the prices of all commodities. Our living has become unbearable, and I am very worried about my future.

This is what prompted me to launch this campaign to collect donations, hoping that people of conscience and those who love humanity will stand with me and help me survive and live with dignity.

This is all I want to convey to you, my friends. I won't go on too long, as everyone in the world sees what's happening to us in Gaza. I wrote these words to you out of intense pain and suffering, and I hate it, but it's against my will.☝️

I write this with the pain of the situation we find ourselves in. I write this with deep sorrow for my hungry and scared children. I can't describe my suffering any further. Everyone sees our suffering on TV and the internet, and everyone now knows that we are oppressed and persecuted, so I ask you to donate to me out of love, not pity. Thank you very much.

“مرحبا بالجميع، اسمي مراح سكر، من سكان شمال غزة، عمري 20 سنة ولدي طفلين، بسبب العدوان الإسرائيلي على غزة بتاريخ 2023/7/10 فقدنا أنا وزوجي محمد الكثير من الأشياء

{فقدت منزلي الذي أفنينا عمرنا في بناءه ، فقدت إثنين من إخوتي شهداء ارتقوا في قصف اسرائيلي غادر أثناء دفاعهم عن الوطن وبسبب ذلك انا وحيدة الآن دون سند}

تعرضنا لأبشع أنواع العذاب من نزوح وتشريد وتجويع وذل ، وحالياً أقبع في تلك الخيمة بعد أن خسرت كل شيء للأسف⛺️

ووصل الوضع الآن إلى حد عدم القدرة على تحمل تكاليف الحياة، خاصة مع ارتفاع تكاليف المعيشة بسبب إغلاق المعابر وندرة البضائع. إننا نعاني من صعوبات وكوارث لا يتصورها العقل البشري، فلا يكفي القتل والدمار والتهجير. هناك غلاء فاحش للأسعار لجميع السلع . لقد أصبح مصدر رزقنا لا يطاق، ولا أستطيع تحمل أي شيء.

وهذا ما دفعني للقيام بهذه الحملة لجمع التبرعات، آملاً أن يقف معي أصحاب الوجدان والمحبين للإنسانية ويساعدوني على البقاء والعيش بكرامة.

هذا كل ما أود ايصاله لكم يا رفاق ولن أطيل الحديث كثيراً فالجميع في العالم يرى ما يحدث لنا في غزة

، فقد كتبت لك هذه الكلمات من شدة الألم والمعاناة وأنا أكره ذلك ولكنه رغماً عني.

كتبتها وأنا أشعر بالألم من الوضع الذي وصلنا إليه. أكتب هذا بحزن شديد لأطفالي الجائعين والخائفين. لا أستطيع أن أصف معاناتي أكثر. الجميع يرى معاناتنا على التلفاز والإنترنت، والجميع الآن يعرف أننا مظلومون ومضطهدون، لذا أطلب منكم التبرع لي من باب الرحمة والمحبة، وليس من باب الشفقة.
