Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are organizing this fundraiser for our dear friend Mai and her family during this unimaginable time. Just two days ago, Mai’s beloved husband, Mai Xong, passed away at only 38 years old after fighting courageously against NK T-cell lymphoma. Despite enduring multiple rounds of chemotherapy and battling complications that kept him in and out of the hospital, he sadly spent his final two weeks in the ICU before passing away surrounded by love.

Mai is now left to care for their six beautiful children, ages 5 to 15, on her own. She has always been a dedicated mother and a hardworking nurse at Adventist Health and Rideout on 4 main, but due to her husband’s illness and now his passing, Mai has been on leave and is currently the sole provider for her children.

This loss has not only left an emotional void but also created an overwhelming financial burden for Mai and her kids. Medical bills, funeral costs, daily living expenses, and providing for six growing children is simply too much for one person to carry alone.

We are reaching out to our community and kind-hearted supporters to help ease this heavy load so Mai can focus on her children and healing during this devastating time. Any amount, big or small, will go directly to helping Mai pay for funeral expenses, cover basic household needs, and keep life as stable as possible for her children.
