Stand with Maasai: Fund Their Fight for Justice

The Maasai community of the Rift Valley is currently in a legal battle against Marriott International after the development of a Ritz-Carlton safari camp moved forward without proper community consent, violating ancestral land rights and threatening critical wildlife corridors.
For the first time, the community has taken their case to court — a massive step for an Indigenous group fighting one of the largest hotel chains in the world. But legal action is expensive, and Marriott has already attempted to silence the Maasai through restrictive legal measures.
This fund exists for one purpose:
to cover the Maasai community’s legal fees and ensure they are not priced out of justice.
Every contribution goes directly toward:
• attorney fees
• court filings
• community representation
• documentation, translation & land verification
• transportation for elders to attend hearings
This is a fight for land, culture, and the rights of Indigenous people to control their own future.
The funds will be managed with complete transparency. Updates, receipts, and court milestones will be posted openly so donors know exactly where their support is going.
If you can’t donate, sharing this page is just as powerful.
Thank you for standing with the Maasai.
