Louisiana Starbucks Workers United Solidarity Fund
Starbucks workers in Louisiana are turning up the heat!
Last year, Brian Niccol became Starbucks’ newest CEO, interrupting the strides we’ve made towards a union contract with sudden refusals to bargain in good faith.
The company has refused to address our proposals for the economic contract, hitting the union with an insulting 1% wage increase. Niccol himself makes a whopping $57,000 per hour, the highest CEO-to-worker pay gap in the country.
It would take less than one day’s profits to settle the contract for 12,000+ union members! Yet they refuse.
Baristas are ready to secure a fair contract, and are prepared to do whatever it takes to bring it home. As they hit the picket lines, we ask you to stand in solidarity.
Donations will go directly to the union members to help supplement their incomes as they stand up against one of the largest fast food chains in the world.
This is a historic moment in labor history, and with your help we can show Starbucks who really has the power!
