Continue L and S’s Mission: Feed Hope to Haiti’s Children
Donation protected
I first met L and S during mission trips to Haiti and grew to know them more deeply when they became part of our church family here in the U.S. They are a kind, faithful couple who fled the worsening violence in Haiti in 2022 and came to the United States under humanitarian parole. They worked hard, served their community, and built a life here — until shifting policies began to reduce their legal status again and again.
Eventually, they had no choice but to leave behind their jobs, their home, and everything they had rebuilt, and seek asylum again — this time in Canada.
Though they are now safely in Canada and starting over once more, their hearts remain with the people of Haiti — especially the children in their old neighborhood, where poverty and gang violence have become unbearable.
For years, L and S sent money back home to help a small community center that provided food and safety for local children. These weren’t just meals — they were lifelines. In Haiti, food scarcity is so severe that many children are forced to join gangs just to survive. A sandwich can mean the difference between hope and despair.
Even while facing their own struggles, L and S made sure those kids didn’t go hungry. But now, they can’t.
To make matters worse, the community center they supported recently lost assistance from USAID. That support helped feed hundreds of children — and now, it’s gone. L and S’s contributions, generous as they were, were just a drop in the bucket. Now the need is urgent.
We want to step in. And we need your help.
Just $50 can feed one child for an entire month — providing 8 meals, including:
• 2 hot meals with protein
• 2 sandwiches
• Clean drinking water with every meal
When these children gather for meals, they sing songs, play games, and — for a few sacred hours — simply get to be kids again.
Your gift will do more than feed a child. It will restore dignity. It will offer safety. It will remind them that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten.
Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus for these children — and for L and S, who have carried this burden with such quiet faithfulness.
Please join us. Let’s stand in the gap. Let’s feed hope.
Give today, and remind these kids they are not forgotten — not by us, and not by God.
