Kim had a traumatic fall at work. As a result of the fall, she has a complete avulsion fracture. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday with total recovery 3-4 months. Kim is single and is out of PTO due to the recent hurricanes, along with the flu and a 6mm kidney stone that she is still dealing with. Workman’s comp will not start for two weeks and is only 60% of her salary. Kim works two jobs, so this is a big hit.
