I never imagined I would find myself in the situation I’m in now—fighting in court for custody of my children. Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I love and care for my kids. They are my whole world.

Unfortunately, their father has filed to remove the children from my home and is seeking sole physical and legal custody. We’ve already spent over $20,000 in legal and court fees, and we’ve only completed one day of trial. We still have another one to two days ahead, and the costs continue to rise.

I’ve taken the maximum allowed from my retirement account and have exhausted every financial resource I have. I truly don’t know how I’ll continue, but I know I must—for the sake of my children and our future.
