Support Youth-Led Organization Stand with Kids DC

Hello,

I am Morgan O'Connor (15), and I am the president of a branch of the youth-led, nonprofit, certified 501(c)(3), Stand With Kids, which works to provide underprivileged kids living in low income communities and homeless shelters with materials (ex. books, toys, clothing) to help them grow and learn. We also want to organize special events like movie nights, arts and crafts day, birthday parties, and various other events to help the children enjoy their childhood. Our organization also offers young people the opportunity to become more involved in the community, gain leadership skills, and work towards a good cause.

Vision and Mission Statement:

Stand with Kids (SWK) aims to ensure that children living in poverty are able to live a childhood full of good experiences and memories. We supply children and teens with toys, books, cards, care packages, and educational materials. Our primary goal is to enrich the lives of children that are spending extended periods of time at shelters and provide them with opportunities to grow and develop.

100% of donations will go into organizing events and creating care packages for the kids at the shelters that we partner with.

We are partnering with local DMV organizations.
