Stand with Kelli: Ensure Kids' Safety

My name is Kelli. I am the mother of three lovely children.

My ex-husband gave stimulant ADHD medicine to one of our children, who was not prescribed that medicine. This is the second time he has given stimulant medicine incorrectly. This was the first time I found out about him giving it to our youngest.

I filed a police report and a DCYF report, along with a temporary restraining order (TRO).

On Monday, the TRO was dismissed, despite my ex-husband admitting to the felony in court, to a commissioner.

I am working with a lawyer, in hopes of getting an appeal, and at least getting an actual judge to look at this case, seeing as the things I alleged were confirmed in court.

I am disabled, but I’m fighting for the safety of my children. I want them to see their dad, but I don’t feel it’s safe for them to be alone with him, especially when he administers clinical speed to children.
