Hello, my name is Crystal. I am starting this GoFundMe to raise as much money as possible to help my soon-to-be husband, Juan Luis. He was detained by ICE this morning while heading to work. He's 20, and his birthday was coming soon in July. We've already been through so much. We wanted to start a family; we had a miscarriage, and we barely moved into a new house two days ago. We were planning on getting married. They stopped him and his brother this morning and told them the reason they were detained was because they had tools in the back. They didn't even ask them for IDs. The ICE agents turned their phones off and took them to the 44th and Meridian Detention Center. My boyfriend's sister-in-law went to look for them, and one of the agents or officers tried telling her they weren't there, yet they WERE! This is so unfair. He's a good human; he's hardworking! He's done nothing to anyone. Everyone who knows him knows he's been nothing but a good human. I am thinking of leaving to his hometown in Mexico. This man is my soulmate. When we suffered our miscarriage, he supported me. He got us a house; he's done everything for me. I started a new job two weeks ago. I am barely going to get my first check on the 16th. We barely paid the first month's rent. Everything was going great , and this happened. I can't even fathom what he's thinking being there. These are HARDWORKING MEN!! NOT BOTHERING ANYONE, NOT HARMING ANYONE!!! THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS. WHY ARE THEY GETTING INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING, TRYING TO MAKE A FAMILY? ANYTHING HELPS.
