Stand with Juan Carlos Sanchez Against Unfair Detention

Hello family, friends and Latino community, my name is Stephanie Sanchez I respectfully ask a moment of your time; we are living through tough times, a nightmare today is my family and tomorrow many more. Fear and unlawful detentions have overshadowed all of our lives. We pray and hope it does not happen to our family, however when it does you are left empty hopeless and heartbroken. On June 13,2025 at 7:50am my father Juan Carlos Sanchez was detained in front of his house in Bell Gardens. He was going to drop off my mom to work when they surrounded him, cuffed him and treated him like a criminal. My father, grandfather, husband and hardworking community member and the sole proprietor of our family was detained by ICE. My father has no criminal record, has never been arrested, was racially profiled and detained simply for being Mexican. His whereabouts were unknown for more than 48hrs. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and medicated. As of today June 18, they have moved him to a tent placement somewhere in Texas. I can not fight this alone, we have contacted an immigration attorney and as you know that can be very expensive; Let alone one filed documentation cost roughly $2,000. Therefore I respectfully ask if you could please help my family and I, fight against this injustice.
