Last year, our world changed forever.

My partner, Jo, was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel, liver and lung cancer.

Nothing prepares you for hearing those words. One day you're making plans for the future, and the next you're learning to treasure every moment together.

But if you know Jo, you'll know something incredible...

Cancer hasn't changed the person she is.

She is still the same kind, loving and selfless woman she has always been. She always sees the good in people and is the first to offer help, even while going through treatment herself. She has spent her life putting others before herself.

Jo is an amazing mum to Leo and Jamie, a devoted daughter, a loving partner and the sort of friend everyone wishes they had.

The hardest part is that she would never ask for help herself.

In fact, when we first spoke about raising money, Jo wanted part of it to go to charity instead. That's exactly the kind of person she is.

But this time, we believe it's Jo who deserves the support.

Cancer has taught us something that many of us don't truly appreciate until life suddenly changes.

Time is life's greatest gift.

This fundraiser isn't simply about raising money. It's about giving Jo choices.

The chance to seek private consultations and specialist opinions.

The opportunity to explore additional treatment options or clinical trials if they become available.

The ability to travel for appointments without the added financial worry.

Most importantly, it's about creating memories with the people she loves.

A weekend away.

The Challenge

To show Jo that she is not facing this journey alone, Fozzie Foster and Lone Wolf Commando Fitness are organising something extraordinary.

24 Hour Log Carry

Saturday 19th September 2026

Starting at 10:00am

The challenge is simple...

Once the main challenge log is lifted, it must not touch the ground for 24 hours.

Dedicated relay teams from Lone Wolf Commando Fitness will carry the main log continuously throughout the day and night, working together until the challenge is complete.

The challenge isn't about strength.

It's about commitment.

It's about teamwork.

It's about a community coming together for someone who has always been there for everyone else.

We'd love as many people as possible to come along.

Bring your family.

Bring your friends.

Stay for an hour or stay all day.

Cheer the teams on.

Share a coffee.

Meet new people.

Help us create an atmosphere filled with encouragement, hope and kindness.

While the main challenge log will be carried by the designated relay teams, everyone is invited to take part.

Throughout the event there will be smaller logs available for anyone who wishes to carry one.

Carry one on your own.

Carry one with your partner.

Carry one with your children.

Carry one with a friend.

Walk one lap.

Walk several.

Or simply stand beside the route and encourage those taking part.

It doesn't matter how far you carry a log.

What matters is why you carry it.
