Hello friends,

I am setting up this GoFundMe for my son, Jesai McKenzie. Jesai is not just my child — he is the light of our family. A smart, respectful, and driven young man, Jesai has always put others before himself. He graduated from high school in 2023 and started community college to save money while pursuing his dreams.

Jesai worked hard — helping to care for his grandmother, spending summers working at a children’s camp, and mentoring his younger siblings and cousins. He loves football and has long dreamed of playing in the NFL. More than anything, Jesai is a faithful friend, a dedicated son, and a role model to those around him.

Unfortunately, Jesai and our family are now facing one of the most difficult times of our lives. He has been wrongly arrested and is being held until his court date. This has devastated us — not only emotionally, but also financially. We are doing everything we can as a family to support him, but the legal fees and related expenses are overwhelming.

We believe deeply in Jesai’s future. He has so much potential and deserves the chance to live out his dreams without this injustice holding him back. We do not want this difficult moment to define the rest of his life.

We are reaching out to you — our community of friends, family, and supporters — to ask for help. Every contribution will go directly toward Jesai’s legal fees and related costs so we can fight for his freedom and ensure he has the chance to continue his path toward success.
