Hola, mi nombre es Rocío y con el corazón en la mano les pido ayuda para mi esposo Javier.
El lunes 20 de octubre, fue detenido por agentes encubiertos del ICE (cazarrecompensas) en DesPlaines, Illinois, en el momento de su detención le dijeron que sólo revisarían sus antecedentes policiales, sin embargo terminó siendo trasladado al Centro de Detención en Michigan. Mi esposo no tiene ningún antecedente policial ni criminal, en su buena fe y temor ese día él no puso resistencia, pero fue amenazado con un arma, algo que ha dejado una herida profunda en nosotros como familia.
Javier es un padre amoroso, un hombre trabajador y el pilar de nuestro hogar. Cada día se levantaba temprano para salir a trabajar con la esperanza de darnos un mejor futuro. Su ausencia está siendo muy dura, tanto emocional como económicamente.
Les pido, desde lo más profundo de mi corazón, que nos ayuden a cubrir los gastos legales y las necesidades básicas mientras luchamos por su libertad y por mantenernos unidos como familia.
Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, significa muchísimo para nosotros. También agradecemos sus oraciones, su apoyo y el cariño que puedan brindarnos en este momento tan difícil.

Hello, my name is Rocío, and with my heart in my hand, I am asking for help for my husband, Javier.
On Monday, October 20th, he was detained by undercover ICE agents (bounty hunters) in Des Plaines, Illinois. At the time of his arrest, they told him they only needed to check his police record. However, he ended up being transferred to a detention center in Michigan. My husband has no police or criminal record. In his good faith and fear, he did not resist, but he was threatened with a gun — something that has left a deep scar on us as a family.
Javier is a loving father, a hardworking man, and the pillar of our home. Every day, he would wake up early to go to work, always hoping to give us a better future. His absence has been extremely hard on us — both emotionally and financially.
From the bottom of my heart, I ask for your help to cover legal expenses and basic needs as we fight for his freedom and for our family to stay together.
