Stand with Families Facing Immigration Challenges

THESE GUYS ARE FAMILY AND NOT CRIMINALS AND THATS WHY I AM HELPING!* Hi my name is Darwin and I was a witness of a very sad moment/situation. (PROOF AVAILABLE) A few weeks ago, 2 of my coworkers were arrested by State Trooper in WPB, FL and turned into Border Patrol/ICE. It was a very heartbreaking experience. The fact that you are not able to help in the moment makes it even worst so that’s why I am doing my best in a legal and legitimate way to help out these amazing, humble, hardworking and caring human beings. As headed to work in a Heavy Duty Truck while pulling a loaded 15,000lb Box Dump Trailer, one of our truck tires exploted. Very luckily we were able to control the truck/trailer and pull off to the side of the road. As we were changing the tire a state trooper showed up, observing the situation he decided to ask for identification. Without a second thought my coworkers identified and continued changing the tire. When we were done changing the tire I asked the officer if everything was good and if we were good to go and he said, “yes everything is good”, but as soon as he goes to hand one of my coworkers his ID back, he tricks him and grabs his hands and puts them behind his back. Same thing happened to the second guy. I asked why he was putting them in handcuffs and said, “I’ll explain soon”. Till after he arrested them he said “Border Patrol wanted to process these guys”. I asked why if they’re not criminals and he responded, “you can find out more information in Riviera Beach, I don’t have more time for questions”. This could’ve been a very tragic incident. Although my coworkers are okay, they now face a very difficult challenge, literally being set free from “ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ”. I mean who names this place that and why doesn’t the law only arrest criminals, instead of hardworking Men under Legal Status who contribute to the economy and community? These guys are the backbones to their Families; Wife’s and kids. They need as much support possible for Attorney Fees and Bonds. Not only that, but to sustain their household as bills accumulate. These guys are not only my coworkers, but also are part of My Family. I can assure and vouch that these guys are not a threat to the U.S. I also have a God Sister that was arrested at a gas station while going to work with a similar situation to ours. She has no criminal record and was trying to apply for a legal status. She leaves behind 2 kids who truly need her here in FL, U.S. She was in FL but got transferred to New Mexico, U.S making everything more difficult and more expensive. Attorney Fees costs thousands and thousands of dollars, Detention center visits costs hundreds of dollars, bails are going to costs thousands and thousands of dollars for each one of the detainees. On top of all this, the costs of living has to be held for each and every one of the detainees families. I really hope we can all come together and help in these families times of needs. A Goal has been set but if possible I would also like to help out Great Family Friends from Prayer Groups/Church who were also detained and processed through Border Patrol. None of these people have been sent back to their countries, why? Because they are not Criminals! I can vouch for them being a US. Great Citizen and can assure they are not a threat to the U.S. I Thank you for reading this and really hope we can make a significant impact in the lives of these families. THANK YOU!
