Support Eric Whitaker’s Recovery

Hi, my name is Stephanie Streets, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin, Eric Whitaker — a devoted husband, loving son and brother, and a respected professional now facing a serious health challenge.

Eric recently suffered major health issues and required emergency care. In keeping with the lifelong faith, he shares with his wife, Cindy, he was transferred to a specialized hospital in Chicago that provides bloodless medical therapies.

For those who know him, it’s no surprise that even in difficult times, Eric’s strength, calm, and sense of purpose remain steady. He has always been there for his family, friends, and community — now, he needs that same support in return.

A 30-year veteran of Merck, Eric has built a life defined by hard work, faith, and compassion. Since his hospitalization, many friends have asked: "How can we help? How can we support Eric and Cindy right now?”

This campaign was created in response to that question — to provide a way for all of us who love Eric to come together and lift him up.

This has been an emotional and physically overwhelming time for the Whitaker family, and we cannot thank you all for your love and support.
