My dear friend, Dylan Evans is a survivor of sexual assault by a trusted educator during high school. After years of silence, Dylan has chosen to stand up and seek accountability through action. This journey comes with heavy financial, emotional, and legal costs.
I have added official documentation for reference which has been made public (see additional photos).
I stand united to help Dylan and his family offset his burdens, along with things to come. I have known Dylan to be transparent in his dealings with the community and also as a man of integrity. He exercises good family values. I see Dylan work diligently to advocate for survivors like himself. Who better than him to help advocate and continue the mission to protect those who have gone through it?
The call to action: I am reaching out to meet a financial goal of $12,000. This process is a journey, and I know there are good people out there like yourself that are willing and able to contribute. This financial gift will help support continued counseling and healing resources, legal expenses to pursue justice, financial burdens and continued pursuance of his calling to advocate and support others who have been through similar circumstances.
No one has been taught how to deal with this. Dylan went through it and is going through it. Through everything, I want my dear friend to know that he can work to completely heal without the added stress and to lessen the financial burdens associated with all of this.
In conclusion, let’s merge together as a united force to support the Evans family in its journey. No one deserves to go through this alone.
