“Donald’s Fight: Against Hate, For Justice” (Wrigcoll Enterprise Inc.)

I carry the scars of a lifetime of struggle. From growing up in South Boston during the busing era—where fire and violence scarred our streets—to surviving a stroke, I have lived what systemic racism, hate crimes, and retaliation feel like.

When I stood up for justice through Wrigcoll (WEI), I was attacked—not just by individuals, but by White-led nonprofits who should have stood for fairness. The Greater Boston Food Bank, Food for Free, and others turned their backs. Don Cox targeted me, and others stayed silent. That silence was privilege in action.

Yet I am still here. Fighting. Building. Refusing to be erased.

WEI is not just my story—it’s the story of every Black leader pushed aside while “quiet deals” benefit others. But we don’t give up.
