Stand with Dayana: Hope for a Little Fighter
My name is Dayana’s mother. My three-year-old daughter, Dayana, is fighting brain cancer and we are far from home, staying at Seattle Children’s where she is currently hospitalized. We are migrant farm workers; we traveled from California to Oregon and Washington for work, and during our last stop in Bellingham Dayana began having severe headaches that led us here. Being so distant from family has made every part of this journey heavier and lonelier.
I have stayed by Dayana’s bedside and lost our income while caring for her. We do not have family nearby, and the everyday needs keep piling up. Donations will help cover food and essential daily expenses, lost wages while I care for Dayana, local transportation, and travel costs so our family can be together. Every bit of support will be used for our immediate needs during her hospitalization and recovery.
Seattle Children’s has given us hope and the care Dayana needs. Their mission to provide hope, care, and cures means everything to us right now. Knowing a community stands with us helps carry us through the long days and nights at the hospital.
Please consider donating to support Dayana and our family through this difficult time. Your gift will help us focus on Dayana’s recovery and keep our family together when we need each other most.
