Stand with Colia After Tragic Explosion

On 6/29/25 while asleep in her bed, devastation occurred. Around 4AM,a catastrophic explosion occurred collapsing 3 houses. Ms. Adams-Broaddus who just buried both her mother & sister earlier this year after caring for both of them was pulled from the burning rubble by a Angel Neighbor & with the swiftness of the Philadelphia Police & Fire Depts. she was rushed to the hospital. Her home was completely destroyed but her life was spared by the grace of the God.

She is a loving & deeply loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, colleague, & neighbor. She has given unselfishly to those who ask for her help, she is a pillar of her family and the community in which she lives. Always connecting the community to resources & services needed. She is firm, proud & independent.. if the North Star were a person, It would be her. She is a fighter, she is a survivor & an amazing person with an amazing heart. For All that she gives, she would ask for nothing in return..so we, her loving & committed family, friends, & colleagues ask you all for her.
