Update: Unfortunately circumstances have changed. Chris's diagnosis has taken a different turn. Surgery is off the table for now. Doctors have found more cancer in the liver. Things are farther along than we initially thought. We ask for your continued support for our brother and his family. Our good friend Chris Benbenek is in need of some help in a trying time. Diagnosed with colon cancer a few weeks ago, Chris will be undergoing surgery and unable to work for at least the next month and maybe longer. Our goal is to raise enough to provide a safety net for him and his family. Chris is concerned for his children most of all and wants to be able to provide for them over anything. Father to five wonderful kids and a second father to a lot more of us ( including myself) , this hardworking, kind man could really use our help. Whether you know him from his fantastic music career, are just a friend, or know him from his years of exceptional service bartending for this great city, dig deep for our friend.
