Stand with Chaplain Tanner in His Time of Need

Chaplain Tanner is a very important person to our community and to our hospital, Centennial Medical Center. He pours out so much love to people everyday and never misses a beat to do so! He allows God to use him to touch peoples' lives day in and day out! As a true warrior for his family, friends and the good Lord, Allen is in a time of need. He has financial struggles and needs love to be poured out to him during this time. Here's his story:

"The Need Is Great…I serve as Chaplain at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center, in Nashville TN and have the opportunity to minister to people who are broken, hurting, and often battling for their lives.

I am called to serve and give to others, and it is very uncomfortable for me to be on the receiving end of asking for help. But I also know that God uses people to meet the needs of those who are in a genuine need of help.

I am now one of those in need of help…

I have been inundated with unexpected circumstances…i.e.…

Passing of loved ones, that required travel, to be present for them, in their critical illness, and at the end of their life, major automotive repairs, medical bills, etc.…

I have exhausted all of my savings, and am doing all that I can to stop the spiraling down…Although I work approximately 55 hours per week as a Chaplain, I have taken on an additional part time job.

Saying all of that, there is a resolution to this problem…

My wife has been offered a very well-paying position as a court -reporter/stenographer, however all court reporters are sub- contracted. Which requires the purchase of your own equipment…stenography machine, software, lap-top, and supplies.

These supplies are very expensive, just shy of $10,000. I am doing all that I know how to do, to generate the funds for the cost of this equipment.

If or when we do? My wife can start work immediately and our financial issues, will resolve quickly.

It hurts my pride asking, but any and all donations will be helpful…
