Help Save Chai's Barbershop and Taste of The Caribbean Kitchen
Dear Friends and Community,
I never thought I’d be in this position, reaching out for help, but I am writing this with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. Our beloved Chai, the owner of Chai's Barbershop, is facing an overwhelming crisis that threatens to take away everything he has worked so hard to build.
For years, Chai's Barbershop has been more than just a place to get a haircut; it’s been a sanctuary, a place of comfort and connection for so many in our community. Chai’s warm smile and generous spirit have made his shop a second home for many of us. Recently, Chai took a bold step forward and invested most of his life savings into creating a commercial kitchen in a part of his building, hoping to expand his services and better serve our community.
But just as things were starting to look up, disaster struck. The owner of the building has decided to sell, giving Chai only 30 days to vacate. This sudden eviction notice is a crushing blow, coming right after he poured his heart and soul into improving the space. Without immediate help, Chai will lose not only his barbershop but also the kitchen he worked so hard to build.
Chai is at risk of losing his livelihood, his dream, and the place that has become a vital part of our community. We can't let this happen. We need to raise funds quickly to help Chai purchase the building and secure his business's future.
Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to saving Chai's Barbershop and Kitchen. Your support means the world to us. Please share this with your friends, family, and anyone who believes in the power of community and the importance of standing by those who give so much to others.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s come together to help Chai keep his doors open and his dreams alive.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Matthew Falcher, Elijah Falcher, Sarah Falcher, Sasha Falcher (Thanks for helping or father)
