This fund is urgent and directly supports Christa's husband and son, Case and Cam.

Christa’s husband, Case, took 8 months off work to care for her. Their son, Cam, stepped up to keep Black Lab Coffee going. Now, both are facing the tough road ahead, grieving and trying to keep their businesses alive.

They need our support more than ever. Let’s show up for Case and Cam the way they showed up for Christa.

On May 3, 2025, we lost an incredible person. Christa was one of the toughest, most passionate people many of us have had the privilege of knowing. She poured her heart into everything she did and lived with such intentional purpose and contagious energy. Full of life, driven, and unafraid to stand strong in what she believed. A devoted champion of small business, representing both her and her husband’s locally owned and community-oriented businesses. She had a huge local impact. Her spirit left a mark on everyone.

We’ll begin with a ceremony, then celebrate Christa with a live band playing her favorite songs, red velvet dessert, Black Lab Coffee, and grilled brats and hot dogs. This is a time to honor her spirit and surround her family with love.
