20-Day Immigration Challenge
Donation protected
Hiii, My name is Camila — I’m an artist, DJ, and fashion designer from Uruguay, now living in Portland, Oregon. Over the last few years, I’ve been building a life here filled with art, music, queerness, chosen family, and love. Portland has become my home — and now I’m fighting to stay.
My green card application was recently denied due to “missing documents”, even though I qualify through marriage. After speaking with a lawyer, I learned I need to refile several immigration forms, and possibly submit a motion to reopen my case. These legal processes are expensive and extremely time-sensitive.
⏳ I have less than 20 days to act before my case becomes much harder to recover — and I can’t do this alone.
I’m raising funds to cover:
• Legal fees & consultations
• USCIS filing fees
• Translations and required documents
My estimated costs are $3,500–$4,000. Every dollar helps. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this with your community makes a difference.
I believe in the power of collective care and community. Your support — financial, emotional, spiritual — reminds me that I belong here. Thank you for standing with me in this chapter of resilience, creativity, and migration.
With love and much gratitude,
