Our dear friend began her chemotherapy journey February 20th, and has a challenging road ahead. But if there’s one thing we know, it’s that she is a warrior—fierce, resilient, and surrounded by angels. Let’s lift her up with love, strength, and unwavering support, wrapping her and her beautiful family in the warmth of our prayers, kindness, and care every step of the way.

In September, after breastfeeding her youngest daughter, Brittany noticed a lump in her right breast. Initially, she thought it might be a normal change from nursing, but by December, she knew she needed answers. In January, after a mammogram and an on-the-spot biopsy, she received devastating news: it was cancer.

On January 22, Brittany was diagnosed with triple-negative, invasive carcinoma grade 3, stage 2 breast cancer, an aggressive form of breast cancer. Her tumor was nearly 4 cm, and her medical team moved quickly to begin treatment. Within just four weeks, she started intensive chemotherapy—16 rounds in total. The first 12 treatments are weekly, followed by additional rounds, then surgery and radiation. She has a long road ahead, but she is determined to fight with everything she has.

Through it all, Brittany is doing her best to keep life as normal as possible for her two precious daughters. She is grateful for the love and support surrounding her, but balancing motherhood with the endless doctor’s appointments, treatments, and difficult decisions is an immense challenge. Despite it all, she continues to face each day with strength and positivity.
