Ava’s Story

Our dear friends Patty and Matt are facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Their beautiful 9-month-old daughter, Ava, was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) — a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.

What began as what they thought was a simple stomach bug quickly turned into an emergency. Within days, Ava was admitted to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where she remains under the care of an incredible medical team. She has already shown incredible strength as she begins a long and challenging treatment journey that will unfold over the coming months.

This fund was created to help support Patty and Matt as they focus on what matters most — being by Ava’s side. Donations will help ease the burden of unpaid time away from work and the many unexpected expenses that come with caring for a child in intensive treatment.
