Stand with Anthony: From ICU to Recovery & Rebuild

Anthony was involved in a major car accident early sunday morning, May 19, and had to be removed from his vehicle by the Los Angeles County Fire Department - Jaws of Life.

It is only by God's grace that he survived such a tragic accident that no one else could have possibly survived.

It would have been deemed fatal, but my Bubbie is a fighter! I know God has other plans for him & will use him!

God truly has a hand on Anthony, as he survived being pulled out of a totaled car with hardly any scratches & just a few bruises.

Unfortunately due to the head trauma that occurred in the crash he has been in the ICU Trauma Ward, slowly but surely recovering.

He suffered a Traumatic Subarachnoid Hemorrhage w/ loss of consciousness & respiratory failure after the trauma.

He was diagnosed with a Diffuse Axonal Injury which is a form of Traumatic Brain injury.

Due to this tragic accident, Anthony lost his car that was completely totaled & his livelihood.

Anthony will need speech, occupational, physical & neuro therapy to recover.

He will also be needing to take supplements for his cognitive function long term. He will be out of work for some time due to his disability.

And unfortunately we have been unable to get disability at this time.

Funds may be used for bills, his supplements for recovery, equipment for his therapy, and most importantly for a car. Unfortunately he had just canceled his insurance & the car was a total loss.

Anthony, his family & I want to thank everyone who has reached out to show love or provide emotional support in this extremely difficult time. The outpouring of love & prayer for Anthony have been immense! And has helped along the way to his very hopeful recovery.

We believe in the power of prayer and we know how life changing prayer can be.

Please continue to keep him in your prayers. God is working ! We truly have faith that he will be used as a testimony to glorify GOD.

We want his main focus to be recovery & rehabilitation. We don't want him to come out of this stressed or worried about the things he no longer has. We want him to know it's okay and everything will be taken care of.

The only thing he has to keep his eyes on is God & his healing for his family, his son & me.
