Stand with Amazon Worker Anthonie After Unjust Firing
Donation protected
Anthonie is an Amazon worker at JFK8 and an organizer with the Amazon Labor Union. In April 2024, Anthonie reached out to ALU to get support in getting a work accomodation at Amazon after working on a fractured foot for several weeks. He’s been an active member and leader at JFK8 since. He was fired twice in retaliation after the strike for negative UPT and both times we fought and won his job back.
Last Wednesday on May 7th, Anthonie was fired again, but this time for a final write-up in productivity, because even though he has an accommodation he is expected to meet the same rates and productivity standards for his department as everyone else.
This past Wednesday, May 14th, Anthonie had to get emergency gallbladder surgery. He is currently back home and recovering.
Anthonie needs to support with paying his rent and bills and other necessities at this time, while he fights his unfair termination and recovers from surgery!
