Stand with Amanda for Delta's Custody

Hi my name is Jennifer Olson and I am trying to raise funds for my sister, Amanda Gabel. My sister is one of the most kind, generous, and loving person I know. About 2 years ago she moved back to Michigan with her daughter, Delta to get out of a toxic and verbally abusive relationship. She was belittled and emotionally abused and controlled-by a narcissist. After suffering a stroke that year she decided that life is too important and left. She has since been in a custody battle with this ex boyfriend. Recently she went to court in Iowa, and the judge ruled in his favor taking my niece, Delta, away from her mother to live primarily with her manipulative father. My sister has always been Delta’s primary caregiver and the best mom. She has always been a stay at home mom and Delta is her number one priority. The judge in this case discriminated against my sister due to her having a stroke, seizure, and being a diabetic. They used her disabilities against her which is an injustice to our justice system. Who’s to say that a person with health issues is not a fit mother. Instead the court awarded primary custody to a verbally abusive manipulative man. I fear for my niece Delta. She is only 4 and needs her mother. Please help us appeal this unjust ruling. These funds will help pay for her legal costs to fight for her daughter!!
