Stand with a Community Member in need & oppose Fascism

Hello, I am choosing to remain as anonymous as possible out of an abundance of caution for how my face, car model, and misguided attempt at constructive dialogue were perceived by mass media here in Washington State. I am a lifelong Seattle resident and was priced out of being able to afford a one-bedroom apartment on Capitol Hill circa 2017. My family has lived in Washington now for four different generations, and we are passionate about our community as well as our local causes and sports teams.

Fox News has chosen to run a smear campaign using my likeness, my model of car, and without merit, both sides of the story, or full transparency, has decided to push a false narrative about my true intent or motivations behind this interaction. I will say first and foremost, to all my women out there, including the one involved, I am sorry for how I acted in this instance and will do better because I knew better. I DID NOT know the driver was a woman until I got out of my car & once that was realized I quickly drew back my verbal escalation and left. I was raised by my grandparents, who recently passed, as well as a mother who had me at 17 years old. I also have a sister and have had many monogamous romantic interests in my lifetime that ultimately were a mutually positive experience overall. That being said, I would never do anything to ANY woman, having been a victim as a child witnessing domestic abuse against my own mother in front of me as a toddler. This is not an attempt to trauma dump or minimize the frustration I expressed on that day but merely an attempt to make things right.

For every action, a reaction, and with that said, this is a call to action to my community and my brothers, sisters, and LGBTQ+ allies or supporters, or even the opposition. We need constructive and restorative dialogue. Our city has turned its back on us long ago; we are the local families who were priced out and told tech is the future of our city, move along. We are the people working two jobs to survive, living paycheck to paycheck in the midst of so much uncertainty. I have been defamed, slandered, and more by online trolls. I was wrong that day; HOWEVER, I did not deserve to be falsely lumped into acts of domestic terrorism, revolution, righteous change, radical ideology, or otherwise. I am a local who is disheartened by the stances our mayor has taken in defense of not only Elon Musk, Big Tech interests, and mocking the return of our beloved basketball team, The Sonics.

I am now being forced to sell my vehicle as a result of this going viral, out of caution and to be safe from retaliation as well as concerns for law enforcement running with a false narrative and pursuing something that has been wildly misconstrued and inaccurately portrayed in an attempt to piggyback on the sensationalism of Tesla, Trump, and the like. I am going to need a decent lawyer... It's been a decade plus since I've needed one, but last I checked, retainers usually start at around $5,000-10,000 dollars. I am manifesting abundance and support from anyone this resonated with, and thank you for reading.
