Justice for Ruslan Turko!
On June 5th, Ruslan and two other minors were arrested and thrown into jail for riding lime scooters and leaving marks on a crosswalk. They are charged with first degree malicious mischief and facing up to 10 years in prison and a $15,000 fine. Is this good use of taxpayers' dollars? Is it really a felony charge?
A quick search will bring up dozens of articles and thousands of comments, with some videos having up to 4.7 million views. This incident has been reported globally! Most commenters are appalled, even within the LGBT community.
Should pride murals be painted on our streets where thousands of cars are expected to drive?
These murals were voted and funded by Spokane City Council, a whopping 1 MILLION DOLLARS!!!! And they are just getting started. We have more pressing matters in our community!
The following morning, as KHQ was reporting the story, another group of kids started making donuts and creating skid marks on the pride mural. Look up the video for yourselves. The city counsel said these murals are intended to bring unity to our community?! Should we remove these murals permanently?
What's the future of our country looking like for our kids? Your support will make a statement- THIS IS INJUSTICE!
Further, email Spokane City Council and let your concerns be heard. The roads are paid for by our tax dollars.
