Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be making one of these, and truthfully, it’s hard for me to ask for help. My pride and my need to always hold things together on my own usually keep me quiet. But right now, I’m reaching out because my family really needs support.

My dad has been in the ICU for a few days now, and things are tough. We’re currently waiting to hear from the cancer doctor, and he’s expected to need two surgeries. My mom has not left his side since he was admitted, and I’ve been doing my best to hold everything else down at home — including caring for their two puppies who are staying with me.

I’m not asking for much — just enough to help cover one month of rent for my parents while my dad is unable to work. We’re hoping and praying he’ll be able to come home before then, but recovery may take some time, and the last thing I want them to worry about is money.

If you know our family, then you already know how loved and respected my dad is. He’s a hard-working man, a loyal friend, and the best Pappy to his grandkids. We’re holding on to hope for a miracle.
