Stand by Timothy & Sawyer: Custody legal fees
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Timothy, and I’m a full-time single father to my two-year-old son, Sawyer. I currently have full custody, and his mother has supervised visitation as outlined in our court order.
Due to legal restrictions, I can’t share specific details about our custody case. But what I can say is this: I’ve been there for Sawyer since day one, and this has always been his home. I’ve done everything in my power to provide him with love, stability, and consistency—and I’m committed to continuing that. I do not want to take Sawyer away from his mother. That has never been my intentions. I just want Sawyer growing up in the safest environment as possible and I feel she still needs to be supervised for undisclosed reasons. In September, a request can be made to the courts to expand visitation. It’s already been made clear that I am getting taken back to court. I will be responsible for paying for my attorney. I don’t take any of this lightly, which is why I’m doing everything I can to be prepared and to protect what’s best for my son. My attorney, Harold Grissom, has represented us from the beginning and knows our case inside and out. But after spending over $10,000 in legal fees, I’ve hit a wall financially.
I’m not the type to ask for help, but I’m just ready to put an end to all the back and forth and give Sawyer the peaceful life he deserves.
Every donation will go directly to legal fees. If anything is left over, it will go toward paying down debt from this battle and into a savings account for Sawyer’s future.
If you can’t donate, please don’t feel obligated. Your thoughts, prayers, and support mean more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
