Susan is one of the strongest, most self-less people I know. She has spent her life caring for so many others, but right now she in desperate need of help herself.

A few weeks ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. As if the fight ahead wasn’t enough, she is raising her son alone — a wonderful boy with severe autism who depends on her for everything. Years ago, her husband deserted their family in the middle of the night for a former flame, and she’s been working hard ever since to provide for her son.

The treatments are exhausting, the bills keep coming, and she’s falling behind. Between doctor visits, medication, and the extra care her son needs, she’s running out of both money and energy. She’s trying to hold it all together, but it’s more than one person can do alone.

I’m asking for help to cover her medical expenses, everyday living costs, and ensure her son continues to have a safe and stable home while she undergoes treatment. Every dollar will make a real difference — from keeping the lights on, to putting food on the table and proper care for Jacob.
