Stand by Rodney's Family After His Passing

In loving memory of Kapleton Rodney, a dear friend, brother, and integral part of our Jacobi / North Central Bronx family.

On the fateful day of Saturday, April 5, 2025, we were handed a devastating blow. We lost an irreplaceable soul, a coworker to some, but for many of us, Rodney was much more. He was a person who extended warmth, love, and unwavering support to all those around him.

To his friends and their families, he was a steadfast guardian, generous with his kindness. To every stranger who graced the corridors of our building, he was a welcoming face. To patients, he was a comforting presence in a sea of unfamiliarity. For the new staff finding their feet, he was a guiding light, relentless in his quest to extend a helping hand wherever possible.

The staggering news of his abrupt and untimely departure has left our Jacobi/ NCB family reeling, but the impact is most catastrophic for his own family. Rodney, a doting father to five children, was the pillar of strength and love his family relied upon. His absence creates an unfathomable void.

Recognizing the tremendous ordeal his family is now faced with, we, the Jacobi / NCB family, have decided to rally together and set up a collection fund. The purpose of this fund is to support Rodney's children as they reassess and readjust their lives without their beloved father.

This is our humble attempt to honor Rodney's memory, embody his spirit of generosity, and ensure that his legacy of love continues to shine through his children. Let's stand together in this time of pain and loss to aid those who need us the most - just as Rodney would have done for us.
