My name is Kylie Hartzog, and I am creating this fundraiser for my grandfather, Jovon Hartzog, or as his grandchildren affectionately call him “papa.”

On May 9th, 2025, my grandfather experienced severe chest pains that necessitated immediate medical attention. He was promptly transported to the hospital, where medical professionals discovered a blockage in his coronary arteries. As of May 12th, 2025, he is scheduled to undergo a procedure to determine whether he will need a stent, open-heart surgery, and possibly a pacemaker.

My grandfather is a hardworking and dedicated individual who consistently supports his family. He possesses an unwavering commitment to helping others. I am seeking your assistance in covering the substantial medical expenses incurred due to his uninsured status. Additionally, we are in need of support to cover living expenses, as he was one of the main providers for his family.
