Stand by Juan and Mari in Their Time of Need

Today I write to you with my heart in my hands to ask for your help and solidarity.

This weekend, my brother Juan was diagnosed with a brain tumor that has left him unable to work. This devastating news not only has us heartbroken but has also placed his family in a very critical financial situation, as Juan is the primary income provider for his household. His wife Mari and their two children, Isabella (8) and Lucas (4), are facing one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Juan, Mari, and their children’s world was shattered suddenly by this news, leaving them in a situation of terrible instability.

Juan emigrated to the United States five years ago with the hope of building a better future for his family. Through hard work and dedication, he and Mari created The Crepe Company, a food truck business where they work tirelessly for their children. Juan is the driving force behind the business, and his absence has completely halted the household’s income.

I created this GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical expenses and the family’s living costs while we organize ourselves and figure out how to keep the business running without him. For now, Juan must focus on his recovery, and Mari needs to care for him and their children.
