Hello everyone,

We are the children of Jose Manuel Ruiz Valadez, and we are reaching out during a deeply difficult and emotional time for our family.

Our father is a 53-year-old devoted husband, a loving father, and someone who has always put others before himself. Everyone who knows him will tell you he has a heart of gold — kind, hardworking, and humble.

Today, he is facing two devastating challenges:

1.) Serious health issues, including type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney injury, cataracts in both eyes, and chronic stress.

2.) Heart failure

Because of his deteriorating health, our father has been unable to find a job that would hire him, and with all of that burdening him, he also has limited access to the medical care he urgently needs.

We are raising funds to help cover his medical bills. The money will go toward:

• Doctor visits, medications, and procedures

• Legal fees and representation for his deportation case

• Travel, documentation, and any related court costs

We know times are tough for many, but if you are able to give — even a small amount — it will make a huge difference in helping our father stay healthy and safe, and in fighting for his right to remain with his family.
