Stand by Jesse's Loved Ones

Hi, my name is Jacob, and I’m raising money for my brother, Jesse. He’s been battling chronic pain and serious health issues for years. On Sunday, February 2, doctors told us he won’t recover from his heart problems, and he’s now in hospice care.

Jesse has always had a gift for working with animals. He trained service dogs for disabled veterans, people with epilepsy, and others who needed support. Even when he was sick, he kept helping—training, rehoming, and finding the right paths for animals to become loving pets or therapy/service dogs. He wanted someday to have his own facility where he could help even the toughest rescue animals find hope and healing. He’s touched the lives of so many people and animals with his natural talent, and his impact will be felt for many years to come in this community.

If you know Jesse, you know how deeply he loves animals—but his love for his family is even greater. His wife and son mean the world to him.

Since 2018, Jesse has been in and out of the ER, with doctors only able to keep him comfortable enough to go home. It’s been heartbreaking to watch him suffer, but he’s stayed strong because he wanted to keep helping others, even through his pain.
