So as many of you already know, our buddy John Gresham is struggling. He’s been working through many difficult things in his personal life, his family life, and his work life. It all just became too much for one man to bear. We all know how special our brother, John is and I think we can agree that he has a heart of gold. His generous spirit, his wit, his zest for living life, his love for his wife and daughters and most importantly his love for the LORD, are all apparent in his actions and through his words. It’s always been what you see is what you get with Gresham. A friend who made you feel like family. He is a light to so many! 

Unfortunately, that light has been lost. Without going into every detail, he is in need of some extensive support. While he hasn’t made every choice with grace lately, he still is our friend and he needs our help! While he is away from Bekka and the girls there have been many needs that have presented themselves. Financial needs weigh heavily on Bekka as John is not able to work for the foreseeable future. 

There has been flooding in their basement, loss of jobs, recent destruction to their home and belongings by law enforcement, as well as other financial burdens that are piling up and Bekka needs some peace! Our sweet Bekka and the girls need our help! As she begins to pick up the pieces of poor choices and out of character behavior from John over the past few months, she is unsure how to manage it all. Every day is bringing something new and unexpected! 

From several nudges from friends, Bekka has agreed to asking for support from friends and family. So we put together this page for anyone who feels moved to give monetarily to help Bekka and their girls with everyday needs as well as simple things that we take for granted, like toaster ovens and hairdryers. They lost mattresses, bedding, rugs and couches. Carpet needs to be replaced but insurance won’t cover. Simple school supplies, fans, vacuums, the list goes on and it all had to be thrown out because of damage to the inside of their home, which is unlivable at the moment. Bekka has had to decide what to keep and what to call as a loss. The things she keeps have to be professionally cleaned. That’s another financial need. The needs grow every day! And on top of all of that there are just weekly groceries and home bills. They have many needs!! They have many burdens!! 

This page will be for the other pieces to this story that no one really gets to see or hear about. The every day raw struggles that a situation like this can bring; A page to support our buddy’s wife and daughters while he’s away. However, if now is not a time for you to give then Bekka and the girls would covet your thoughts and prayers as they walk through this surreal and heartbreaking situation. Let us help carry the burden of our beloved Greshams!
